High School Youth Classic Invitational Tournament

Tournament Rules and Format

1. Eligibility: All participants must be current youth members of the Greater Austin Area USBC

Association for the 2007-08 season and have been a high school student (grades ninth through

twelfth only) during the 2007-08 school year.

2. Format: Handicap singles tournament, participants will bowl four games on one pair of lanes.

3. Fees: $12.00 entry fee (lineage & expenses)

4. Handicap: 100% of 230.

5. Averages: Bowlers will use highest GAAUSBC-Youth certified 21 or more game average as of

May 1, 2008.

6. Entry deadline: 30 minutes prior to squad time

7. Date: Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 10:00 am

8. Practice: Two balls on each of your starting lanes.

9. Dress code: Clothing worn on the legs must be at or below the knee and cannot be wore below

the waist. Bowler must also wear a shirt with sleeves. And the following will not be allowed:

clothing that contains reference to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, sex, vulgar language, violence, gang

related affiliation or other distracting symbols. No caps, hats or visible midriffs. Use of cell

phones or electronic equipment will not be allowed while bowlers are in tournament play. Dress

code will be enforced. No profanity of any kind will be tolerated. Any abuse of bowling center

equipment, such at kicking, hitting or any other destructive behavior will not be tolerated.

10. The tournament director shall decide all questions not covered by these rules.
